Fanfiction
Fan fiction (alternatively referred to as fan-fiction, fanfiction, fanfic, FF, or simply fic) is a broadly-defined fan labor term for stories about characters, a band or settings written by fans of the original work or band, rather than by the original creator. Works of fan fiction are rarely commissioned or authorized by the original work's owner or band, band members, creator, or publisher; also, they are almost never professionally published.
Fan fiction, therefore, is defined by being both related to its subject's canonical fictional universe and simultaneously existing outside the canon of that universe.
Most fan fiction writers assume that their work is read primarily by other fans, and therefore tend to presume that their readers have knowledge of the band on which their works are based.
The authors of DOD Fiction's stories own none of the characters.
Responsibility
You understand that all stories are the sole responsibility/posession of its author. This means that you, not DOD Fiction, are entirely responsible for a story that you make available. We do read your story before we accept it, we cannot however, know if your story is written by you or if it has been written by somebody else and takes from some place else without knowledge of the original author. Only send us stories you wrote or that you have permission for to use/send.

DOD Fiction is an unofficial site. We are not related to, nor know any member of the band. The band is not connected to any of the authors/stories. All stories are fictional.
